Who Is Endless Genetics

Endless Genetics is a genetic research and breeding firm founded in 2022. The organization specializes in the rigorous phenotypic selection, stabilized hybridization, and development of pathogen-resistant cannabis cultivars.

Commercial Foundations:

The firm began with several large-scale "pheno/geno hunts" involving hundreds of seeds to identify elite commercial strains currently used by Bad River Farms, such as Moonbow and 10gs.

Genetic Stabilization:

Current projects involve creating stabilized generations of specific lineages, such as the Blueberry Train Mac (BBTM) F4 generation, which utilizes one superior male and three females to lock in desired traits.

Pathogen Resistance Selection:

The firm uses environmental stressors and natural contamination events—such as the powdery mildew issue found during the Moussebow (Modified Mousse x Moonbow) hunt—as selection tools to identify and move forward only the most resilient plants.

Hybridization Partnerships:

Endless Genetics works with diverse genetic backgrounds, including projects from Bokashi Genetics (Blueberry Train Mac), 3s Genetics (Moussebow), and Huckleberry Hill Farms (Paradise Pine).

Advanced Breeding Goals:

Ongoing initiatives include backcrossing (BX) projects to reintroduce vigor to elite cuts like Moonbow and shortening the flowering time of long-flowering varieties like Ghost Train Haze by crossing them with trigger-sensitive cultivars like Paradise Pine.

Our Breeding Philosophy

Founded in 2022, Endless Genetics is dedicated to the rigorous selection and stabilization of elite cannabis cultivars. Through strategic partnerships with Bad River Farms (BRF), Endless Genetics has transitioned from large-scale commercial pheno-hunts to sophisticated breeding projects focused on vigor, unique terpene profiles, and environmental resilience. This report details our foundational hunts, current breeding pipelines, and future stabilized backcross (BX) initiatives.

I. Foundational Commercial Selections

Period: 2022 – 2023

Partnership: Bad River Farms

The inception of Endless Genetics was marked by massive genetic screenings involving several hundred-seed "pheno/geno hunts." These trials were designed to identify high-performance cultivars capable of meeting the rigorous demands of commercial production.

  • Commercial Successes: Two primary cultivars were selected during this phase and are currently integrated into Bad River Farms’ production schedule:
    • Moonbow
    • 10gs

II. The MAC-1 Lineage & Experimental Crosses

Period: 2022 – Present

Since acquiring the elite MAC-1 (Miracle Alien Cookies) cut in 2022, the primary objective has been utilizing its unique structural integrity and resin density as a breeding foundation.

  • Queens Black Lime Pie Project (2024): An extensive hunt and breeding project was initiated using Queens Black Lime Pie. However, the primary project was scrapped following a systemic molding issue triggered after a defoliation event.

  • The Royal Wedding Bridge: Despite the setback, experimental MAC-1 test crosses were made with the Queens Black Lime Pie. Specifically, a (Queens Black Lime Pie x MAC-1) x Royal Wedding cross was successfully bred.

  • Current Status: This lineage is currently held in reserve for future stability testing and unveiling.

III. Blueberry Train Mac (BBTM) & Stabilized Populations

Period: 2024 – Present

Genetic Source: Bokashi Genetics

In 2024, Endless Genetics acquired a Blueberry Train Mac (BBTM) Skunk Cut F3 pack. This project represents our shift toward open-pollination and population stabilization.

  • F4 Generation: One superior BBTM male was selected to pollinate three high-performing females to create the F4 generation.
  • Expansion Crosses: The BBTM male pollen was also used to create:
    • Moonbow x BBTM
    • MAC-1 x BBTM

  • Current Status: Testing is currently underway to evaluate the F4 stability and the phenotypic expression of these hybrid crosses.

IV. The Moussebow Initiative: Pathogen Resistance Selection

Period: 2024 – 2025

Genetic Source: 3s Genetics

A significant 61-seed pheno/geno hunt was conducted on Moussebow (Modified Mousse x Moonbow) to identify a superior "Modify Mousse" leaning phenotype.

  • Pathogen Screening: During the hunt, a Powdery Mildew (PM) contamination event served as a natural stress test. Many "Modify Mousse" leaning plants showed susceptibility.

  • Superior Selections: A select handful of Moussebow individuals demonstrated superior PM resistance and have been moved forward for further testing.

  • The Moonbow Backcross (BX) Roadmap:
    1. Stage 1: Utilize a BBTM Male x Moonbow Female to produce a specialized breeding male.
    2. Stage 2: This male will be used to pollinate the PM-resistant Moussebow selections.
    3. Stage 3: A male from the resulting cross will serve as the final donor to pollinate the original Moonbow, completing a future Moonbow BX project.

V. Paradise Pine & Ghost Train Haze (GTH) Trials

Period: 2025 – Present

Genetic Source: Huckleberry Hill Farms

Endless Genetics recently conducted a hunt of Paradise Pine (PP), which resulted in the selection of five exceptionally unique females and two high-vigor males.

  • The Paradise Pine "Unique Five": Females #3, #8, #9, #12, and #14 were kept for their "redonkulous" quality, marking this as a high-value genetic acquisition.
  • The Paradise Pine Crosses: With no separation between the two PP males, the following crosses were produced:
    • PP F2s: (Current priority for seed stock preservation).
    • PP x MAC-1
    • PP x BBTM (Phenos 1, 2, 5)

  • Ghost Train Haze (GTH) Project: Due to the near "auto-flowering" trigger sensitivity of the Paradise Pine, it was identified as a strategic partner for the Ghost Train Haze.
    • Current Challenge: The GTH is currently at Week 14 of flower and remains unfinished, highlighting the extreme Sativa-leaning morphology of the cultivar.

Surprise Surprise

This one has potential. An auction pack has landed us quite the seed pack from Bokashi. 3 females and 1 male were grown leaving us with no option but to go straight to F4. The F3 Selection is already Fire so we are excited to do a few things with this .
